Infrastructure projects are often large scale visually imposing built structures, which require careful landscaping solutions to stabilise, soften and integrate the development into the surrounding environment.

Landscape Planners has extensive experience with infrastructure projects with clients including the Public Transport Authority,  Main Roads Western Australia and the Water Corporation.

Significant infrastructure projects include the Mitchell Freeway Extension, the Reid Highway Extension, the Great Eastern Highway and Roe Highway Intersection,  the South West Metropolitan Railway Stations from Perth to Mandurah, and numerous Public Transport Authority and Water Corporation projects.

Landscape Planners have undertaken the development of MRWA Landscape Strategies, including community and stakeholder consultation, Landscape Management Plans, species selection, re-vegetation and landscape design works and integration with Public Art elements.

Works undertaken for Main Roads Western Australia and the Public Transport Authority projects have included master planning, visual assessments, aesthetic enhancement, planting and seeding of civil road embankments, freeway and rail embankments, bridge abutments and batters,  and also the biodiversity management and rehabilitation of degraded landscapes.
